Engagement Ring Guide

Accessibility statement

How this site meets WCAG 2.0 AA and Israeli Standard 5568, the settings you can change for contrast and text size, and who to contact if something fails.

We treat accessibility as part of the service rather than an addition to it, and work to make sure anyone can read this guide and use it independently — whatever their ability, their assistive technology, or the way they browse.

The standard the site is built to

The site is built to meet WCAG 2.0 at Level AA, in line with Israeli Standard SI 5568 and the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Regulations (accessibility adjustments to a service).

What has been done

  • Every page is checked automatically on each build: a heading structure with no skipped levels, exactly one main heading per page, language and text-direction attributes, a skip-to-content link, defined navigation and content landmarks, alternative text for images, accessible names for tables and navigation menus, and a cue on links that open in a new tab.
  • Colour contrast is checked automatically too, across every colour combination the site uses, and meets the required ratios of 4.5:1 for body text and 3:1 for large text.
  • The site can be operated entirely by keyboard, and the focus indicator is clearly visible on every focusable element.
  • Text size is defined in relative units only, so it grows with the browser’s zoom without the content being clipped.
  • The site honours the operating system’s reduced-motion setting, disabling animation and transitions when it is switched on.
  • Right-to-left writing is fully supported, and the content is offered in Hebrew, English, French and Spanish.

The accessibility menu on this site

An accessibility button sits at the top of every page and opens a settings menu. From it you can enlarge the text by two steps, switch on a high-contrast mode, underline every link, and reset the settings. Your choice is stored in your browser and stays in effect across pages and future visits.

Known limitations

  • The site has not yet been reviewed by a certified accessibility auditor. The testing done so far is internal, combining automated checks on every build with manual review.
  • The site links to external websites. The accessibility of those sites is outside our control.
